Linocut Social Flyer

Inspiration: Femme Fatale DC

I created this sample flyer for a hypothetical linocut workshop at Femme Fatale DC, a local art collective and event space in Northwest DC. I was inspired by Femme Fatale DC’s logo, which I designed to look like it had been printed on three different pieces of paper on top of a crafting table.

Starting Points

  • Femme Fatale DC’s logo

  • Font and light pink color similar to those found on Femme Fatale DC’s website

Process & Goals

  • Brand awareness: using Femme Fatale DC’s logo as the linocut design itself brings more recognition to the collective

  • Event details: shares logistics of the event with Femme Fatale DC’s audience, prioritizing a call to action that encourages RSVPs
